The exterior look of the hotel building draws from the history of Cambodia – dating back to the year 1863 when Cambodia was ruled by the French Colony and was only then granted independence in the mid-1900s when Prince Norodom Sihanouk became king. Anik Palace hotel’s exterior concept took inspiration from this event in order to display Cambodia’s history and all the hardships that our country has gone through and what it had overcome. The bricks used for the structure’s exterior design is over 100 years old.
